Having ridden for most of my life and undertaken a fashion degree at Birmingham City University it seemed the perfect decision to combine these two passions. Whilst starting up the business I was working for a tailor as this is a particular passion of mine, I decided to use this knowledge and skill to design and manufacture a range of tweed show jackets. From then the brand has expanded and we now offer a great range of bespoke tweed to wear both on and off of the horse.
Whilst working along side the tailor I was also doing all kinds of alterations including bridal, bridesmaid and prom. This then went on to manufacturing some wedding dresses for some of our clients. I began to love working along sides and seeing them amazed as together we created their dream dress. When I finished working for the tailors and became fully self employed I contacted lots of local bridal shops to get more alterations work. Gradually I built up my reputation and work from other shops until the point that further shops were contacting me to work alongside them. As my work load built up and my reputation got greater, I started gaining more work via word of mouth. I currently still work for a couple of shops but the majority of my work now comes from previous brides reviews and I am doing an average of 150 gowns per during peak wedding season.
